Date 2027

Dear Community, unfortunately, we must postpone the previously announced date for FANTASY BASEL – The Swiss Comic Con 2027. Due to a conference taking place at the same time over the Ascension Day holiday (Auffahrt) at the convention center, the infrastructure necessary for our festival will not be available in Basel to the extent required next year. Over the past few days, we have been working intensively to find solutions and have explored every possibility to ensure we can continue to offer you the service, quality, and unique experience that you know and love about our festival. After careful consideration, we have decided that postponing the festival is the best possible option.

FANTASY BASEL – The Swiss Comic Con will therefore take place next year, as a one-time exception, from May 15 to 17, 2027 (over Pentecost holiday /Pfingsten).

In 2028, we will return to our usual schedule over Ascension Day holiday – from May 25 to 27, 2028. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and support.

We are all the more excited to celebrate the joy of movies, games, comics and cosplay together again next year! Advance ticket sales and the first program announcements will begin in September; registration deadlines for artists and exhibitors will be announced shortly.
