Entry conditions:

A Covid certificate (vaccinated, tested or recovered) is required from the age of 16. The certificate is only valid together with an officially valid ID (with picture).

The Covid certificate is required only from the 16th birthday, but also children and adolescents need an identity card.

Test center:

A test centre will be set up on-site.

Code of conduct:

    • Masks: Masks are compulsory before entry until AFTER ticket control. There is NO longer a mask obligation in the halls. However, we recommend wearing a mask during longer conversations with staff, artists, merchandisers, cosplayers and stars, as well as in areas where keeping your distance is not possible. 
      Keep your distance: If possible, keep a safe distance from other people.
    • Disinfect and wash hands: Disinfect and wash your hands regularly when touching objects (especially in gaming areas).
    • No handshakes or hugs: Finally, we get to see each other again. However, please remember that the virus is still among us. Therefore, protect yourself and others by refraining from handshakes and hugs.
    • Respect: Respect when others wear masks or ask for more distance.
    • Pay cashless: Pay by card when possible.

Getting to Basel

If you’re staying at a hotel in Basel, you’ll receive a free travel pass that will let you use all public transport in the city and the surrounding area for the duration of your stay.

The “Messeplatz” tram stop in front of Messe Basel is just a 10-minute ride from the main railway station (SBB/SNCF) on lines 1 and 2. From “Basel Badischer Bahnhof” station, take line 2 or 6 just two stops to “Messeplatz”.

The fair is just off the motorway. Take the “Messe” exit, which will bring you straight to the exhibition and conference site.

Basel has a modern parking guidance system:
Tip: use the “Basel Badischer Bahnhof” railway station car park, which is just a few minutes’ walk from “Messe Basel”.

The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is just 15 minutes by car from Messe Basel.

From Zurich airport, the journey to the main railway station in Basel (SBB/SNCF) takes less than an hour on direct trains.

It’s worth spending several days in Basel, the city of art. With around 40 museums and collections, Basel is one of Switzerland’s most important artistic and cultural centres.
