Respect for All
Every year we are happy to see many beautiful cosplays, however you can of course visit FANTASY BASEL - The Swiss Comic Con in common everyday clothes or your favorite outfit. In order for all visitors to have a good time at the festival, we ask you to read through our Festival Respect Code in advance and adhere to our rules of conduct.
Peaceful Coexistence
We look out for each other. Photos of cosplayers, booths, and visitors may only be taken with their consent. We respect all peaceful people, no matter what religion, sexual orientation or lifestyle they belong to. We do not tolerate discrimination and expect respectful interaction. Inappropriate behavior or harassment may result in immediate exclusion from the festival or even criminal charges. Anyone who feels uncomfortable or needs help can report this to our security staff or volunteers at any time.
Weapons Control
If your cosplay includes a replica of a weapon, you must show it on site at the weapons check in the entrance area. There it will be checked for our weapons regulations. Approved cosplay weapons will be marked and you can enter the festival with it. As at most events, realistic military costumes and troupes are not allowed at our festival. Security
Our security is authorized to check bags and luggage at the entrance, as well as to perform additional security checks. Security personnel will also be on hand in the festival halls.
