Whether walls, clothes, cars or skin – whatever the Spaniard Kron gets his hands on, he paints. Preferably with skulls. In the 1990s, Kron also made a name for himself in the graffiti scene far beyond Basel with his lettering and B-Boy figures.

He is also known as a designer and co-founder of the hip hop clothing brand Hooder Industries, as well as for his unmistakable party posters and CD covers – including as head designer of the Basel rap label TripleNine. Kron also works regularly for winter sports outfitters such as O’Neill, Core Skis, Nidegger, Spyder and Santa Cruz, for whose Olympic gold medal winner, Gian Simmern, Kron designs a snowboard.
The artist honed his airbrush skills with Dieter Löffler, a Swiss motorcycle and car customizer. In the meantime, Kron has also taken to tattooing and not infrequently paints canvas pictures.
