Wasteland Warriors are a group of artists, with members from all over the world. They have created some amazing costuming, pulling you right into their post-apocalyptic vision. Inspired by Mad Max, Waterworld or Fallout, the Warriors sport their own unique appearance. They specialize in post-apocalyptic costumes, props and displays and even build their own cars to suit their artistic style!

Angus MacInnes is a film actor from Edinburgh with more than 30 years of experience in the film and television industry. He has appeared in more than 40 feature films as well as television, radio and advertising in the UK, Canada and the US, working with world-renowned directors. Among them were George Lucas, Louis Malle, Peter Weir, Stanley Kubrick, Costa Gavras, Guillermo del Toro and Brian de Palma, as well as numerous leading actors such as Burt Lancaster, James Caan, Carrie Fisher, Robert Shaw, Susan Sarandon, Harrison Ford, Gene Hackman, Tom Cruise , Max Von Sydow, Michael Caine and Samuel L. Jackson.

His filmography ranges from SciFi (Star Wars, Judge Dredd, Hellboy) to art house films with Costa Gavras (Amen), Louis Malle (Atlantic City) and Stanley Kubrick (Eyes Wide Shut), dark thrillers by Peter Weir ( Witness), Peter Medeck (The Krays) and Brian de Palma (The Black Dahlia), comedies like Strange Brew but also horror movies (Hellraiser II: Hellbound, The Sender) and shows a huge cross section of genres.

The FrightGuys, one of the craziest cosplay troupes at FANTASY BASEL- The Swiss Comic Con are back again and ready to conquer the world. 

Horror characters like Wolfman, Pennywise, Jason Voorhees, Samara Morgan, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Cpt. Spaulding and Co. are now such a cult that even the FrightGuys have them on board. In addition, they prove that even monsters have a heart, because they are also involved in charity.

Garrisons from all over Europe have heard about the unique atmosphere at FANTASY BASEL – The Swiss Comic Con and have announced their arrival.

We can therefore look forward to a very large number of Stormtrooper & Co.! Welcome 501st Legion in Basel!

The 501st Legion – Swiss Garrison is committed to present the history and costumes of the STAR WARS films to the public and, above all, to give kids the opportunity to experience the characters from the movies in real life. Charity is a priority because the 501st Legion is a non-profit club. In addition to member activities, they offer a Galactic Academy for young people under 18.

He is known as dwarf Dori in The Hobbit or Harry in King Kong and plays the auctioneer Stigwood in the current film “Mortal Engines”. We are looking forward to exciting panels with Mark, who is also a great entertainer and comedian. Welcome to Basel, Mark!

English actress Victoria Atkin voices Thora, Clip and Powerchord in Fortnite Save the World. She also is Evie Frye in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the first playable female character for the Assassin`s Creed series on next generation consoles. Not only did Victoria provide the voice for the characters but she performed the full motion and facial capturing as well. Victoria’s performance as Evie has been highly acclaimed in the gaming world and since she has gone on to work with Warner Bros, Sony Playstation, Guerrilla Games, Respawn Entertainment, Monolith Productions and Blizzard.

The successful Englishwoman also lent her voice for many other major games such as Titanfall 2, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds she voiced Mailen and Sekuli. Fortnite and Assassin’s Creed fans; get ready for Victoria Atkin! She will be present on all three days and she is not only on stage but also holds autograph and photo sessions!

The German actress Julia Dietze made an international breakthrough with the science fiction cult movie “Iron Sky”, which premiered at the Berlinale in 2012 and can now be seen in cinemas with the second part “Iron Sky – The Coming Race”. There she embodies the female lead role of the teacher Renate Richter. Julia Dietze proves her versatility with a lot of talent and passion in various genres and different roles. Meanwhile, the French-born looks back on a career of over 80 films. Julia Dietze also became known to a wide audience for her role in the german comedy “1 1/2 Ritter – Auf der Suche nach der hinreißenden Herzelinde ” as well as for leading roles in numerous german television films, such as “Tatort” and various “SOKO” films as well as several episodes “Beck is back!”.

Most recently, she starred in the motion picture “Five Women,” which was nominated for the 2018 Jupiter Award and “Fack Ju Göhte 3,” as well as “Iron Sky – The Coming Race.” Julia Dietze will be present on Friday and Saturday and will also be signing autographs and doing photo sessions.

Philipp Christopher moved to New York after graduation to study film and acting at the School of Visual Arts. His passion for working both in front of and behind the camera led him to numerous films and plays, primarily in the US and Germany. For example, Philipp was also awarded as a director for his films THE BRIDGE and CHANCE OF RAIN at internationally renowned festivals. In addition to several independent films, he also took part in projects such as SEX AND THE CITY (The Movie) and BLOOD TIES. However, his family and the desire for new challenges brought him back to Berlin in 2014. A short time later Philipp took over the role of “David Brenner” in the german cult soap GUTE ZEITEN SCHLECHTE ZEITEN, which ensured his great reputation in German-speaking countries.

This was followed by a return to international space with YouTube’s Big-Budget sci-fi series “Origin”, taking on the role of ambivalent passenger Arndt alongside Harry Potter stars Tom Felton and Natalia Tena, and surviving in space fights. Philipp Christopher will be present on Friday and will also be signing autographs and doing a photo session. We are looking forward to an exciting panel with him!
